Join FotoFest on November 16, from 12:30 to 3 PM, for a cooking performance and tour by Yashoda Latkar. During the 12:30 to 1:30 PM performance, Latkar will infuse the space with the aromatic scents of spices while engaging visitors through communal cooking activities, fostering cultural exchange, and evoking a sense of nostalgia and connection to her roots.

Following the cooking performance at 2 PM, Latkar will guide guests through her work in La Mecha Contemporary's exhibition, Migrating Memories and the Spaces Between.

This program is part of FotoFest's autumn 2024 exhibition, Artist-run, Artist-organized, featuring three discrete exhibitions by Texas-based artist groups La Mecha Contemporary, Omnigenesis Collective, and Throughline Collective.
