Join FotoFest on Saturday, October 12, from 1 to 4 PM for Creating Art with AI: A Hands-on Experience, an exciting interactive workshop led by Christopher Meerdo, an Omnigenesis Collective artist and the exhibition organizer of Apeirophobia. Meerdo will guide participants in creating a projected mural through outpainting, a process of creating imagery beyond an existing image using generative artificial intelligence (AI) models. Art enthusiasts and artists of all skill levels are welcome and will learn about integrating ethical AI processes into their creative practices. 

This program is part of FotoFest's autumn 2024 exhibition, Artist-run, Artist-organized, featuring three discrete exhibitions by Texas-based artist groups La Mecha Contemporary, Omnigenesis Collective, and Throughline Collective.

Free parking is available at the lot opposite Silver Street Studios. The entrance to Silver Street Studios is located at 2001 Edwards St, Houston, TX 77007, under the Silver Street marquee. Drive all the way in, then turn left when reaching the large parking area. You will see a wooden deck leading to Silver Street Studio's Entrance 1.
