Program

Join FotoFest for the opening of nothing is precious, everything is game, a career survey exhibition featuring the work of artist duo Hillerbrand+Magsamen. Opening remarks will be provided by FotoFest executive director Steven Evans. Meet the artists, enjoy complimentary refreshments, and engage with the interdisciplinary work of the artist pair. Plus, visitors can collect specially designed stamps in a printed exhibition guide!

nothing is precious, everything is game marks the first comprehensive look at the artists' 25-year creative journey together. Featuring selections from their major projects, a retrospective of their video works, and a series of interactive performances, the exhibition highlights their playful and inclusive approach to artmaking.

The collaborative processes on display highlight the husband-and-wife team's exploration of imagination, experimentation, consumerism, societal relationships, and the reimagining of their physical environments to critique daily life.
