FotoFest's offices and galleries are housed at Silver Street Studios, in Sawyer Yards, within Arts District Houston

Arts District Houston is a colorful, urban, artist-centered community situated in the Houston city center, along the Washington Avenue Corridor, that touts the highest concentration of working artists in the state of Texas. It is home to over 300 studio spaces for local artists, designers, and makers. This state-appointed Arts and Cultural District has a rich history as it encompasses portions of both the First and Sixth Wards, two of the city’s oldest neighborhoods.

The International Meeting Place, Unfiltered: Portfolio Walks, Fine Print Auction, Artist-Curator Dialogues, and Professional Development Seminars all take place at the Whitehall Houston Hotel.

Restaurants, retail stores, Discovery Green and Buffalo Bayou Park are within walking distance of the Whitehall Houston Hotel. Houston's METRO light train and bus system has nearby stops as well.

Air Travel

Houston is one of the major hubs for United Airlines and Southwest Airlines. Houston is also served by many other US and international carriers. For more information regarding flights to Houston, visit the Houston Airport System website.

Ground Transportation

The city's two airports are George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and Hobby Airport (HOU). Shuttle services, taxis, Uber, Lyft, and car rentals are available at both airports.
